Any reliance you place on such information is therefore strictly at your own risk.

Every effort is made to keep the website up and running smoothly. However, shockolateshop.com takes no responsibility for, and will not be liable for, the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control.

Shipping

We rely on a third party for all our deliveries and therefore are unable to guarantee delivery dates. Occasionally during busy periods there can be delays which are beyond our control but we will inform customers of any issues that we are aware of.

The majority of parcels are sent with Royal Mail.

Delivery

We currently deliver exclusively to the UK only.

Please allow up to 2 days for our team to pick and pack you order. Shipping timeframes are in addition to our processing times.

Orders will be delivered between 8am – 6pm Monday to Friday. Please ensure that someone is available at your delivery address. If no one is able to sign for your delivery the driver will leave a card and the delivery will be returned to the nearest collection centre for you to collect.

Please note that once your order is on its way, we are unable to change the shipping address.

Pricing and Products

All prices quoted are in “£” sterling and are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.

We reserve the right to make changes to our prices and products at any time without giving notice. All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn from sale at any time. We do our utmost to ensure we have high levels of stock however if for any reason a product you have ordered is unavailable, we will notify you as soon as possible.

Discounts

Where an online offer states that a discount is given on a purchase up to a stated percentage, the discount given will only be applicable to qualifying products and the percentage of discount given will vary between qualifying products.

Discount codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offers or discount codes.

Supplementary charges such as delivery or postage & packing shall not be discounted unless specifically stated in the promotion description.

Refunds for goods purchased under a promotional offer will be based on the terms of the promotional price. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Payment

We accept most major credit and debit cards. Payments can also be made through PayPal and Apple pay.

When placing an order please enter the registered billing address for your credit or debit card correctly to ensure a prompt service.

We use a secure payment gateway provided by Shopify Payments which uses encrypted data to ensure your transactions are secure.

Returns

We make every effort to ensure our products reach you in perfect condition. However, we know issues can occur. Therefore, if an item is damaged or faulty on arrival, please contact us immediately on receipt of the goods.

If you are not entirely satisfied with a product for some reason other than it being damaged or faulty, please contact us immediately stating your reason for the dissatisfaction. If there is a problem with the product we will refund the purchase price or send a replacement, if however we deem the product to be in a perfect condition then we reserve the right to charge the full amount for the goods.

Your Account

When you place an order with us you can checkout as a guest or you may want to create a user account in order to make future purchases a much simpler process. To do this we will need to collect certain information about you, this will include your name, address, contact telephone number and e-mail address. We will also collect credit or debit card information in order to process payments, however this is through a secure server and the details are not stored. When you open an account you will need to create a username and password in order to access your account, please keep this information confidential as shockolateshop.com cannot be held responsible for any misuse of your account. Please inform us immediately if you have any reason to believe your account is being used in an unauthorised manner.
